How it works

Watch it come together

Scroll to follow the same order we build in: chassis first, boot and burn-in last.

Step 01

Chassis & airflow

We start with the case, because airflow decides your temperatures. Fans are positioned for positive pressure and dust filters get checked before anything else goes in.

Intake & exhaustDust filtersFan curves
Step 02

Motherboard & processor

Board goes in on standoffs, BIOS updated to the current release, then the CPU is seated with the socket lever torqued the way AMD specifies. No thumb prints on the IHS.

Step 03

Memory & cooling

Memory into the correct slots for dual channel, EXPO enabled and tested. Cooler mounted with an even paste spread and a pump curve that stays quiet at idle.

Step 04

Graphics & storage

Graphics card seated with an anti-sag bracket where it's needed, NVMe drives under their heatsinks, and Windows installed clean with current drivers. No bloatware.

Step 05

Power & cable management

Power supply sized for your parts, every cable routed behind the tray, combed and tied. It looks better, and it keeps the air moving where it should.

Step 06

Boot, tune & 24-hour burn-in

First boot, fan and RGB profiles set, then a full day of CPU, GPU and memory stress testing. We log the temperatures and send them to you with the build.

Configurator

Configure your PC

Start from a tier, then change whatever you like. AMD or Intel, your choice. The board list follows the processor you pick, and we size the power supply for it. Windows 11 Pro is on every build.

BIOS tuning where the free performance is

Same hardware, more of it used. We tune on your finished machine, then stress test for 24 hours and send you the before-and-after log. Settings are documented, so you can revert them yourself at any time.

  • Curve optimiser. Undervolt per core for lower temperatures and higher sustained boost clocks
  • Memory timings. Tightened beyond the EXPO profile, then tested for errors
  • Fan curves. Quiet at idle, ramped only when it actually needs air

Frequently asked questions

Do you sell parts on their own?

Yes, on request. We just don't build the business around it, so there's no parts catalogue on the site and we don't sit on much stock. Tell us what you're after and we'll price it if we can get it locally. Full machines are where we're actually useful, so that's where most of our week goes.

AMD or Intel?

Either. Pick the processor in the configurator and the motherboard list changes to suit it. If the machine is mostly for gaming, the X3D chips are usually the ones to beat. If you're editing video, rendering, or running a stack of virtual machines alongside the game, the Intel Ultra chips start making more sense. Tell us what you actually do with the PC and we'll tell you which one we'd put our own money on.

Can I send you parts I already own?

Usually, yes. A graphics card you're carrying over is the common one. We'll fit it, test it with the rest of the build and treat it like any other component while it's on our bench. Two things to know: the warranty on anything you supply stays with whoever sold it to you, and we charge for the extra fitting and testing time.

Will you work on a PC you didn't build?

Yes. Upgrades, a machine that's suddenly loud, random crashes, a Windows install that's gone sideways. We'll diagnose it and tell you what's wrong before we charge you to fix it. If the honest answer is that it isn't worth repairing, we'll say that too.

How do I know the parts are new?

Everything is new and sealed, bought through local distributors. Your quote names the exact model of every component, so there's no guessing what went in. We don't use open-box or second-hand parts, and we never swap in an "equivalent" without asking you first.

What happens if something goes out of stock?

You hear about it before you pay. Stock and prices in South Africa move week to week. If a part disappears between your quote and your order, we'll come back with the closest alternative, show you the price difference in writing, and wait for you to say yes.

Can I request something that isn't in the configurator?

Please do. A specific case, a colour theme, a custom loop, a second graphics card for rendering, more drives than the list allows. Put it in the notes when you request your build and we'll quote it.

What does the Gaming Tune actually change?

Four things, all in the BIOS. A per-core undervolt so the chip runs cooler and holds its boost clocks for longer instead of backing off. Memory timings tightened past the EXPO profile and then error-tested. Power and boost limits set for the cooler you actually chose, not the worst case the factory has to assume. And fan curves that stay quiet when you're on the desktop and only ramp when there's heat to move. No shortening the life of your parts to win a benchmark.

Is a tuned machine still stable, and what about warranty?

Every tuned build gets the full 24-hour stress test across CPU, GPU and memory before it leaves us. If it isn't stable, it doesn't ship. Your component warranties aren't affected either, because these are documented BIOS settings rather than anything physical. We send you the settings sheet, so you can put it all back to defaults yourself whenever you want.

Do I need the Gaming Tune?

No. A standard build is set up properly, EXPO on, sensible defaults, and it'll run everything you throw at it. The tune is for people who want the last few percent out of hardware they've already paid for, and a quieter machine while they're at it. If the budget is tight, put the money into the graphics card first. You can always add the tune later.

Which version of Windows do you supply?

Windows 11 Pro on every build, installed, activated and updated, with current drivers and none of the junk that comes preloaded on retail machines. Pro gets you BitLocker, Remote Desktop and Hyper-V, which matter the day the machine does double duty for work.

How does warranty work on a custom PC?

Each component keeps its own manufacturer warranty, so the period depends on the part. A graphics card might carry three years while a power supply or AIO carries one. Your quote lists the warranty next to every component before you approve it, so there are no surprises a year from now.

Who do I call if something fails?

Us. Send us the details, we'll work out which part has actually failed and deal with the supplier ourselves. You shouldn't have to argue with five manufacturers about a machine you bought from one company.

How long does a build take?

Usually three to five working days once the parts are in hand, and that includes the full 24-hour stress test. You'll get a firm date with your quote. If a part is on backorder we'll tell you up front rather than let you wonder.

Can I collect, or do you deliver?

Both. Courier anywhere in South Africa, insured, packed in foam so it arrives the way it left. Or come and collect it in person and we'll walk you through the machine before you take it home.

How do I pay?

Once you approve the final quote we invoice you, and we order parts when payment clears. Businesses buying through procurement can ask for a formal quotation on letterhead.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us what you play, the monitor you use and your budget. We'll recommend a build that fits.
